Mentorship Induction Event
(May 2023)
Professionals from a wide range of industries willing to mentor a young person, came together to learn about effectively sharing their expertise with newcomers to their field and what skills are necessary.
Facilitation Course
(June 2023)
A massively oversubscribed response to our search for talented individuals wishing to become a Goldstar Certified Trainer. Each candidate undertook over 100 hours of learning, acquiring the techniques of experiential and immersive learning.
Employees Panel Event
(July 2023)
A chance for school/college leavers to hear first hand from employers what it takes to be a good employee. This included how to present oneself, integrity, punctuality, honesty amongst others.
Head Teachers Focus Group
(November 2023)- Representing over 6,000 student
Essential work with local school heads to increase understanding of the needs of first and second year new teachers. This lead to some significant initiatives being discussed with a focus on specific areas requiring support.
Kindle Connections Event
(December 2023)
This event introduced key concepts of the Soft Skills Programme to participants.
Purim Bake-Off Teambuilding Event
(February 2024)
An opportunity for our trainees to put into practice the team building, time management, resilience and stress management skills they have learned, in an atmosphere of friendly competitiveness at the time of the Purim festival.
Employers/College Leavers Panel Event

A repeat of our school/college leavers event providing an opportunity to hear first hand everything a new employee needs to know.
Working Girls Escape Room Event
(July 2024)
An end of year consolidation event, whereby trainees had to apply their problem solving, logical thinking, critical thinking and team building skills to solve the escape room challenge.

An opportunity for our trained facilitators to share good practice and discuss the way forward in an atmosphere of shared purpose, teamwork and networking.
Goldstar Presentation to Broadgate
(December 2024)
A presentation by our Director Esther Sterngold to the Broadgate Community Fund, who has supported Goldstar’s work this year.
Chanukah Team Building Events- London and Manchester
(December 2024)
Advanced workshops for our trainees who are in their first year of employment. The skills focused on were team building, creativity, time management, stress management and resilience, in an atmosphere of camaraderie and celebration at the time of the festival of Chanukah.
Central London Works Presentation at the Guildhall
(December 2024)
A high-level presentation by our Director Esther Sterngold to an audience of over 80 senior government officials, local councils, employability professionals and community partners, showcasing how Goldstar’s work with Ingeus has enabled us to increase our ability to meet the needs of our community.
Mentoring Support Workshop for First-Time Employees

A workshop supporting young people in their first year of employment, with targeted activities to strengthen their workplace skills.
